RAHUL SUNTAH

Composer, music producer and pianist

Rahul Suntah is an award winning composer, music producer and pianist who has attracted a popular following and millions of views on Instagram and YouTube after posting breathtaking piano covers of popular hits and releasing his debut EP 'Piano Stories' alongside winning the UWE Bristol Talent Show and being featured on popular platforms such as BBC, ITV, Classic FM, Music Crowns, Right This Minute and Pianist Magazine.

Learning the piano at the young age of 8 in Mauritius, Rahul studied ABRSM Piano and Music Theory at the Frederic Chopin Conservatory of Music and carried on with a bachelor's in Music Technology at UWE Bristol followed by a master's in Film Scoring at the University of Bristol graduating in 2021. Besides his musical education, Rahul is a versatile musical artist known online for his unique piano covers and compositions being among musicians who are reshaping the way the piano is played. Blending the world of Classical and Popular music with unconventional piano extended techniques and the aid of a Launchpad and live loop setups, Rahul adapts a wide range of other musical genres to his solo performances such as Electronic, Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock and EDM. 

Rahul performed at the prestigious Manchester Cathedral for the Unique Valentine's Live Show, had his first headline shows in Bristol and London, opened for Amsterdam's Maandag Award Show, starred in their TV campaign in 2022, and also had his track 'Paradise Island' featured among the top tracks of 2021 on BBC Music Introducing.
